Coach and cheer your dog as he runs, jumps, and crawls through a challenging obstacle course that increases in difficulty as his speed and skills develop.
In this six-week session, you and your dog will learn the foundation skills needed to work together as a team and navigate an agility course. Skills covered include handling techniques to cue your dog to turn and work on both your left and right side, impulse control and focus games, nose touch and targeting, and introduction to jumps, tunnels, tire, pause table and the wobble board.
Not appropriate for dogs who are reactive to other dogs on leash.

Beginner Agility Level 2 builds on what was taught in Beginner Agility. In this class, handler/dog teams learn skills including stopped contacts on A-frame and dogwalk, short sequences with jumps, tunnels, table and tire and more advanced handling techniques. Students may choose to repeat this class.

Get started in the fun sport of dog agility with foundation skills for puppies and beginner dogs and their humans. Learn the basics that will encourage your dog to focus on you, work through distractions, and learn the handling skills that will benefit you and your dog in everyday life as well as in many dog sports. The concepts and skills taught in Agility Foundations and the training relationship developed will be beneficial to everyone, even if you never pursue dog sports.
Puppies must be at least 4-12 months old. Adult dogs welcomed.

This course builds on the skills learned in Agility Foundations 1 and includes an introduction to agility obstacles as well as a continuation of handling skills to help dog and handler feel comfortable and confident staying connected and working together as a team. Our goal is to help you and your dog build a strong bond, improve your teamwork, and have a blast while learning the exciting sport of dog agility!
We believe learning should be fun for you and your dog. Tricks are a great way to train without it feeling like work. You and your dog will learn 10 tricks from the American Kennel Club’s Trick Dog list, including classics like “Shake,” and crowd-pleasers like “Crawl,” and “Spin”. With skills like these, your pup will become quite the performer!
At the end of each course, the dogs will be tested to earn an AKC Trick Dog Title!
