ConsultationsWe will meet with you at your home to discuss your training needs. From there, we will tailor a specific program for you and your companion. You will acquire the skills needed to modify behavior, challenge your dog's mind, and most importantly, strengthen your relationship with your best friend.

In-Home LessonsOne-on-one lessons address everything from basic family manners
to more serious behavior problems. Lessons are 1 or 1.5 hours. Lessons are not restricted to the home environment. We will train in the setting where the dog is the most challenged. For example, if your dog is leash aggressive, we will take your dog on a walk; if your dog is misbehaving at daycare, we will address her issues at the daycare facility; if your dog has territorial aggression, we will work to modify your dog's behavior at your home; if your dog is having issues at the vet's office we will partner with your vet to create a more positive experience during examinations.
Private Lessons at Canine PhDCome to our facility at 280 Elizabeth Street Ste. A006
Atlanta, GA 30307. We have 5,000 sq ft of dedicated indoor training space. You will you receive the same service as our in-home lessons
at a discounted rate.
Day Training LessonsEither at our facility or in your home, day training lessons can cover everything from potty training to leash aggression. You can drop your dog off for a few hours to learn new skills like nose work, agility, or formal obedience. Alternatively, we can come to your home and take your pup out for a walk and teach him better leash walking skills. Looking to address more serious problems like separation anxiety, resource guarding, or aggression? We can address these more complicated, behavior issues during day-training. Each day training package is customizable to suit you and your dog's needs.
Puppy TrainingThis in-home service is perfect for you and your new pup.
Series of 3 lessons that will include potty training, crate training, chewing, jumping, socialization and leash walking.
Puppies who complete the puppy series are eligible for 10%
off of the Manners 101 class.
Dog and Baby Harmony
Need to prepare your 4-legged family member for a new arrival? Or is your dog currently having issues with your new baby? We will design a stress-free program for safety, management and acclimation during this adjustment period.
Companion MatchingThinking about adding a new 4-legged family member? Canine PhD offers temperament testing for private adopters so that they have a better understanding of the dog they are considering prior to placement. We will help your family consider the best choice of dog for your lifestyle and environment. And we will assist you in choosing a dog or cat from an animal control facility, private shelter, or breeder.
Temperament Testing For Animal Shelters
Canine PhD offers temperament testing services throughout Metro-Atlanta on a regular basis. We will come to your shelter and assess dogs or cats you are interested in placing up for adoption. Full written documentation and video will be
provided as well as placement recommendations.
Temperament testing increases the adoptability of animals in your
shelter. It gives adopters a better understanding of the dog they are
considering and it gives the shelter a better idea of the ideal adopter

There is an extra fee for travel. This fee will be factored into your lesson rate.
A credit card is needed to secure a consultation. Payment for the consultation is due at the appointment. Cancellations within 24hrs of a scheduled appointment will be charged for a scheduled service. This fee is non-refundable. No-shows will be considered a cancellation. Private lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Packages of Private lessons expire after 6 months if not completed.
