Family Manners 101
Training should be fun, fast
and effective. In six weeks, we cover all of the basic cues: watch, sit/stay, down/stay, coming when called, and loose leash walking. We teach you how to apply training to your day-to-day life, There is an emphasis on RECALLS and LEASH WALKING. This class will prepare dogs for the Canine Good Citizen, Agility and Rally. Family Manners 202We will proof techniques learned in Manners 101. New skills include distance work, settling both on and off "place", and advanced recalls. We will also review loose leash walking, and polite greetings with humans and dogs. You will begin off-leashing training in Manners 202.

Family Manners 303
Dogs who can be compliant to verbal cues at greater distances are truly the best trained dogs. Therefore, they can have many more freedoms. This advanced companion dog class teaches your dog emergency off-leash skills and a rock solid recall.

Bully Basics
This basic obedience class also addresses specific breed training needs. Boxers, Bulldogs, Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Boston Terriers, French Bulldogs Rottweilers and Mastiffs are welcome.
Graduation will be the Canine Good Citizen Certification.

Fearful Fido ClassThis class is for fearful dogs who are not aggressive when scared. Often times, fearful dogs are sensitive to things in their environment. Is your dog scared of noises, objects, surfaces, new people, movement or new places? Then this is the class for you. This class will offer you solutions to deal with your dog’s fearful reactions. You will learn how to help your dog recover quickly over time and gain confidence. Your dog will become a happier and healthier companion.

Taming Your TerrierIf you are a terrier owner....then you must have a good sense of humor! Terriers are tremendously smart, they have lots of energy, and they like to do stuff that just drive us mad. In this class, we’ll talk about how to channel breed tendencies into impeccable training. Since many terriers come hardwired to dig, chase, and bark, we’ll teach you how to turn nuisance behaviors into productive behaviors you can live with! There will be a emphasis on recalls, loose leash walking, and focused attention from your tornado terrier! Dogs must be dog-friendly and people-friendly.

Labs, Goldens and Doodles, Oh My!
Does your retriever like to pick up your dirty socks and your dirty underwear and carry it around the house? Maybe you have a retriever that does not return stolen items to you? Or maybe they try to eat unmentionables straight away? Is your retriever a persistent barker who makes enough noise that can be heard in neighboring zip codes? Or maybe your retriever is an enthusiastic counter surfer? This class will teach you to channel your retrievers' intelligence, spirit and energy while teaching him how to be the very best companion.

Nose WorkBased on K9 detection work, nose work is an exciting new sport that can be practiced anywhere. This mental and physical activity asks your dog to problem-solve using their natural scenting capabilities. In each class, we will strengthen your dog's hunting skills and teach them how to target odor. This class is great for working dogs, reactive dogs, pet dogs, and clients who are looking for something new and fun to do with their dog.

TrackingThis outdoor class covers the fundamentals of tracking. We define terms like air scenting, trailing, track laying, etc. We teach you how to lay tracks and how to read your dog. We will teach you how you can lay track in your backyard, a park, or in any urban location.

Agility for FunYou will learn to communicate with your dog in an exciting, new way. Agility builds confidence, coordination, and enhances your relationship with your dog. Intro classes focus on proficiency of equipment. Intermediate and advanced classes focus on improving handling skills.

Reactive Dog Class
This
class is for owners who are struggling to get their dog's reactivity and aggression
under control. This class is designed for dogs who are reactive to dogs and/or people. In this controlled environment, you will teach your dogs how to RELAX in real-life distractions. You will improve your leash-handling skills, your timing, and most importantly, you will teach your dog new coping skills in lieu of reactivity.
There is a limit of 6 dogs in class.
Prerequisites: 3-4 Private Lessons.

Reactive Agility ClassThis Class is for graduates of the Reactive Dog Class who are looking for more training. This class is for dogs who are uncomfortable working on/off leash around other dogs. This agility class is specifically designed for dogs who are easily distracted, reactive, or aroused. This class will help you further control your dog's impulses when they are excited. You will get the benefits of improving your dog's confidence and having a lot of fun!

Canine Good CitizenA certification program that is designed to reward dogs
who have good manners at home and in the community.
The Canine Good Citizen
Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership
for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step
CC test may receive a certificate from

Puppy Head-Start
For puppies 8-16 weeks.
If you dream of your puppy becoming an agility dog, a therapy dog, or just the best companion dog in the world, then this class is for you. You will become your puppy's best friend while you learn how to create a Canine Good Citizen. You will be educated in the prevention of behavioral issues, including aggression. Puppy 101 will teach you how to use PLAY as reinforcement so that the foundation of positive training is not just through food rewards. Puppies will also learn how to be calm and how to enjoy being handled. We will discuss chewing, biting, potty training, crate training, vet visits and basic commands like your pup's name, sit,
down, watch and come.

Hound On The Town
Do you want the dog you can take anywhere? Would you like to enjoy lunch at outdoor restaurant and have your dog lay quietly by your side? Would you like to be able to walk your dog through the Highlands, Midtown, or Little 5 Points without your dog jumping to greet people or other dogs? In this class, you will finesse leash-walking in distractions, polite greetings, automatic
sits and relaxed downs. You will also learn to teach your
dog important safety protocols like "wait" when you
open your car door.
