Manners 101
Dog training should be fun, fast
and effective. In six weeks, we cover all of the basic cues: watch, sit/stay, down/stay, coming when called, and loose leash walking. We teach you how to apply training to your
day-to-day life, and we will touch on specific behavior
problems like barking &
jumping.This class will
prepare dogs for the Canine Good Citizen, Agility,
and Rally.

Manners 202 This class will teach your dog how to be the best companion he can be! We will proof techniques learned in Manners 101. New skills will include drop it, leave it, heel, distance sit/down stays, and find your place. We will also review loose leash walking, and polite greetings with humans and dogs. You will begin off-leashing training in Manners 102.

Rally combines
characteristics of sports car racing, dog agility, and traditional
obedience into a new fun sport.This positive obedience training, will
keep you active dog moving! Dog and Handler teams navigate a course
with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform such as
Sit-Down-Sit, Straight Figure 8, Send Over Jump, Recall Over Jump.
Teams navigate the course at a brisk, continuous performance without
direction from the judge. Handlers are encouraged to talk to their dogs
during the performance.Prerequisites:Manners 101 or basic obedience.

Agility
is a sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course
in a race for both time and accuracy. Dogs generally run off-leash with
no food nor toys as incentives. Consequently, the handler's
controls are limited to voice, movement, and various body signals,
requiring exceptional training of the animal.

Reactive Class! this
class is for owners who are struggling to get their dog's aggression/reactiveness
under control. This class is designed for dogs who are reactive to
people and other dogs on-leash.
There is a limit of 5 dogs in class.

Reactive Agility Class! this
class is for graduates of the Reactive Dog Class who are looking for more training.This class is for dogs who are uncomfortable or unable to work on/off leash around other dogs, and for dogs that are easily distracted, reactive, or aroused. This class will help you further control your dog's impulses when they are excited. You will get the benefits of improving your dog's confidence and having a lot of fun!

who have good manners at home and in the community.
The Canine Good Citizen
Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership

Star Puppy The AKC S.T.A.R Puppy is an exciting new program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. This program is an incentive program for loving dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class. When you complete a basic training class (taught by an AKC Approved
CGC Evaluator) with your puppy (up to 1 year old) your puppy your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test at the end
of the course.

Puppy Socialization for puppies 10-16 weeks.
This class emphasizes socialization and handling.
Socialization will include new pups, people, sounds, surfaces, environments, and objects. Puppies will practice bite inhibition and puppy owners will practice interrupting their pups during play. We will discuss chewing, biting, potty training, crate training, and basic commands like sit and come.

Play and Obey will teach dog owners how to create responsive and reliable canine companions in environments with dog-distractions. Play and Obey! will make the human more relevant during the
socialization process. Your dog will acquire important skills such as name recognition, come, back, settle, and leave it.
By the end of this four week class, your dog will be checking in with
you rather than ignoring you when other dogs are present. You will also
learn the subtleties of dog body language and canine play etiquette.
Plus, you will become proficient in how to frequently interrupt
rough-housing before it gets too intense.Prerequisites: Manners 101

Outdoor Activities Limit to 8 dogs. $15 for a two hour hike. This is an excellent opportunity for bonding for dogs and humans alike. We will focus on getting your dog's attention in distractions. Bring GREAT dog treats, toys, balls and anything you think will add to

Flyball is an exciting sport that races two teams of four dogs
each, over a 51 foot long course. Each dog must run
in relay fashion down the jumps, trigger a flyball box, releasing the
ball, retrieve the ball, and return over the jumps. A great sport for tennis ball addicts!Prerequisites:Manners 101 or basic obedience.
